John Tilson is focused on mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance for entrepreneurs and private equity clients. John has over twenty years of transaction experience and has built substantial knowledge of and relationships in the consumer products sector. John serves as the Consumer Products Sector team leader for Global M&A Partners. Before joining Brown Gibbons Lang & Company, John was a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Group at Duff & Phelps LLC. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Banc One Capital Markets in Chicago. In addition, he was a Managing Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at First Chicago Capital markets, founding the Detroit office for the firm in 1996. John began his investment banking career in 1990 with American National Bank & Trust Company, a subsidiary of First National Bank of Chicago. John serves on the Chicago Board of Directors for the Gift of Adoption Fund.
