Born in Istanbul, Metin is a graduate of Vassar College, New York, with degrees in Economics and Mathematics. He started his career in finance as a credit officer in Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co. in 1984. During 1987-1994 he worked as Assistant General Manager in Tekstil Bank of Turkey, responsible for credit and marketing functions. During 1994-95, he was a partner and the Managing Director of a securities brokerage firm; he then moved to found Total Finans in 1996. The company is one of the few independent advisory firms focussing on cross border mergers and acquisitions and capital raising activitiy in the Turkish market and is the exclusive Turkish partner of Global M&A Partners. As a member of TUSIAD, Metin has contributed articles to the quarterly Private View magazine and has held Board membership positions in various industrial companies including Bilim Ilaç, Organik Holding and Erkunt Döküm. Metin is also actively involved in various non-profit organisations and foundations and writes for the weekly Salom newspaper. Metin is married with two children and speaks English & French and some Italian.
Paulo founded Condere in 2006. He has undertaken more than 80 projects and operations involving strategy, funding, valuation and M&A in various sectors in Brazil, Argentina and Chile, including healthcare, education, technology, services, consumer goods and energy, with a focus on cross-border transactions. Previously, he was an executive officer with RBS Group and a senior executive at JP Morgan Chase and Amil Group, where he was responsible for qualified investor funding raising, running the strategy area, the structuring of joint ventures and new businesses.
He holds Board member certification from the Brazilian Corporate Governance Institute (IBGC) and was a member of the Board of Directors of Renar, Odebrecht Ambiental and Latam Water Participações. He has a degree in Economics from FAAP-SP and an MBA, specializing in strategy and corporate finance, from Fuqua Business School, Duke University.
SJ (Serck-Joo) is a founder and CEO of Locus Capital Partners. SJ has more than 35 years of experience in investment and commercial banking area and consulting business. SJ has been involved in many transactions of mergers, acquisitions and financings for domestic as well as foreign corporations, ie, LG Household & Healthcare, Dongbu Group, Hite Jinro, Shinhan Financial Holdings, Destination of the World (DOTW), Japan Steel Works, etc... Before founding Locus, he has managed the Korea Investment Corporation (KIC), the sovereign wealth fund of Korea, Cho Hung Bank, Korea Securities Finance Company as CEO and served various governmental committees. He currently sits on the Board of Samsung SDI as a Director. SJ holds an MBA degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor degree from Seoul National University.
After training as reserve officer with paratroopers, Mr. Christian Kollmann graduated as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, and gained extensive international experience in industry and administration in Tokyo, Mumbai and Los Angeles. He joined InterFinanz in 1995. Furthermore he is speaker at advanced corporate finance training courses. At the beginning of 2012 Mr. Kollman was appointed as Managing Director. Mr. Kollmann gained expert knowledge in the industries of automotive, mechanical engineering, IT & tele-communications, food 8, beverages, medical equipment, construction materials and services. Since 2006 he is head of Global M&A Partners Ltd's sector team Industrial Growth (Automation, Controls & Electrical Products and Automotive & Industrial Products).
Mr. De Boer is a co-founder of ZETRA International AG (ZETRA) and a Board member of Global M&A Partners Ltd. Since 2008, ZETRA has always been listed among the Top 4 and since 2013 among the Top 2 M&A-advisors in Switzerland. Prior to ZETRA, he was Partner at the Helbling Group in Zurich and in charge of the corporate finance division. Prior to this, Frédéric worked for the Nestlé Group in Europe, USA and Africa. Frédéric serves on a number of boards of companies in Switzerland and Lichtenstein.
Mr. de Boer provides an active senior role in M&A engagements internationally with particular focus on sell-side advisory for mid-cap transactions. He graduated from University of St. Gallen and INSEAD in Fontainebleau.
