| Further information | Aventum advised the owners of Logistikas Oy and Logistikas Hankinta Oy on the sale of majority shares of the companies Aventum (Global M&A Finland) acted as an adviser to the owners of Logistikas Oy and Logistikas Hankinta Oy (together “Logistikas”) on the sale of 70% of shares to Sievi Capital Oyj (“Sievi Capital”). Current owners will retain a 30% ownership share in the business after the transaction. Logistikas is a leading Finnish logistics company established in 1997, headquartered in Rauma. The company’s logistics service offering comprises mainly of local logistics, in-house logistics and immediate-proximity warehousing services. In addition to logistics services, the company also provides procurement services. Logistikas operates in six locations in Finland and employs some 160 professionals. In 2019 pro-forma net sales was EUR 20.7 million and EBITDA EUR 1.4 million. Sievi Capital is a listed (Nasdaq Helsinki) private equity company that makes investments in small and medium-sized Finnish companies. Sievi Capital creates value through active ownership of the target companies and its involvement will enable Logistikas to further accelerate the company’s growth and expand operations to new locations and services in the growing logistics sector. The transaction is subject to the approval of the competition authorities and is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.
