24 January 2007
London, 24 January 2006 - More than a dozen organisations from around the world are to sponsor the 4th Annual Global M&A Conference to be held in London in April 2007. The Conference brings together senior executives, private equity investors and entrepreneurs with an interest in acquiring mid-market companies overseas.
The London Business School’s Private Equity Institute, Europe’s leading private equity focused academic centre, is acting as ‘technical’ sponsor to the event. In addition, lead sponsorships have been taken by rapidly growing corporate lender The Bank of Ireland, mezzanine finance provider Mezzanine Management; and Lovells, the London-based ‘magic circle’ law firm with 2,000 staff world wide.
Further sponsors include environmental consultants CAT Alliance, insurers AIG, US asset finance provider LaSalle Business Credit, virtual data room hosts IntraLinks and financial services group Killik & Co and Killik Employee Share Services (KESS).
M&A intelligence service Mergermarket and the London Business School will be publishing proprietary research to coincide with the Conference, which will see over 300 delegates meeting over two days in a central London hotel to network and share best practice.
Jeremy Furniss, who is hosting the invitation-only Conference in London on behalf of Global M&A, comments:” We are delighted that organisations of such high calibre are lending their authority to thus event. We are particularly pleased to welcome back many of these sponsors from our previous events in Chicago, Venice and Boston.” Global M&A is the world’s leading partnership of investment banking boutiques focused on the mid-market.
