Michael Gibbons is co-founder and chairman of Global M&A US partner firm Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL).
Immediately prior to forming BGL, Michael was president and CEO of Underwood, Neuhaus & Company, a leading regional securities and investment banking firm in Houston, Texas. While with this firm, he also held positions as executive vice president, head of capital markets and manager of corporate finance. Before joining Underwood, Michael was a senior vice president and served on the Operating Management Committee of McDonald & Company Securities, Inc., in Cleveland, Ohio. With the firm for 10 years, he was one of McDonald’s youngest general partners. He serves on the board of directors and as chairman of the finance and audit committee for Lesco Corporation (Nasdaq: LSCO); and, on the board of directors, audit committee and chairman of the finance and planning committee for Associated Estates Realty Corporation (NYSE:AEC).
Mr. Gibbons holds a B.S., cum laude, Kenyon College, US; an M.S., Management, Case Western Reserve University, US; and a J.D., Cleveland State University,US.
