London, 6 November 2006 - The 4th Annual Global M&A Conference to be held in London in April 2007 is delighted to have secured the services of Pierluigi Collina, the world’s best known football referee.
The event - titled ‘Conquering Cross-Border Challenges’ - will focus on providing delegates with the latest tools and tactics for winning deals in an intensely competitive M&A market over a high impact two day programme.
Collina will be sharing his experiences both on and off the football pitch with the able assistance of equally high profile – and controversial – English referee Graham Poll. Referee-ing the referees will be BBC Sports presenter Garry Richardson.
Livingstone Guarantee partner Jeremy Furniss, the host for the Conference, comments “In a bruising M&A environment, acquirers are being asked to play by increasingly onerous rules by vendors and their advisers. Knowing when to follow the rules – and when to break them – is a key part of successfully completing deals. I can’t think of a better source of advice than Pierluigi.”
