Dusseldorf, London, Madrid (29 March, 2007) - Global M&A, the world’s leading partnership of independent middle market investment banking firms, has announced that its UK and Spanish members, Livingstone Guarantee (LG) and NC Finanzas Corporativas (NC) will be leaving the partnership during the course of 2007.
Global M&A will proceed with its upcoming 4th annual conference to be held on 26 and 27 of April in London with the full commitment of LG and all of the Global M&A partners. Michael Gibbons, Global M&A chairman, commented, “We are disappointed that LG and NC are leaving Global M&A, but are looking forward to hosting another world class M&A conference in London where more than 30 countries and 300 delegates will gather to learn about “Conquering Cross-Border Challenges.”
NC and LG partners, Neil Collen and Jeremy Furniss, commented, “We have made a strategic decision to merge our firms and pursue an international strategy which is no longer compatible with Global M&A. We have been privileged to have worked with many of our colleagues within Global M&A.” Global M&A, NC and LG will continue working together during a transition period for proper handling of current mandates and joint client relations.
